The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a * Flash Flood Watch for a portion of northeast Oklahoma... including the following counties...Craig...Creek...Delaware... Mayes...Nowata...Okmulgee...Osage...Ottawa...Pawnee...Rogers... Tulsa...Wagoner and Washington OK. * From this afternoon through Thursday morning. * Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon and into the evening and overnight hours across parts of northeast Oklahoma. With high water and overland flooding from recent heavy rains remaining across a significant part of the area, additional rainfall from today`s thunderstorms will likely lead to a quick onset of flash flooding. * Remember, most flood related deaths occur in automobiles and flooding is the leading cause of weather related deaths. Heed all road closures, and never drive around barricades.
